What you will gain
Who it is for
What makes AAIT™ different
Resolution at the root, not symptom management.
Most therapeutic models focus on insight and symptom management. AAIT™ resolves issues at their root cause by helping clients integrate opposing psychological states, thoughts, images, emotions, and sensations that have not been fully processed.
This integration frees them from persistent pain and reactivity, often leading to a state of calm awareness and lasting peace, sometimes within a single session.
AAIT™ blends insights from
All woven into a cohesive, proven model of care.

The curriculum
In AAIT™ Foundations, you will learn to help clients easily develop an increased capacity for emotional regulation, release long-standing difficult problems and resolve trauma within minutes, not weeks.
AAIT™ focuses on rapid healing, and client wisdom and insights arise naturally. It offers an efficient and structured approach that leaves practitioners feeling uplifted and creative rather than exhausted and helpless. AAIT™ provides the means to break free from imposter syndrome.
AAIT™ Foundations emphasizes self-care practices and offers tools to rekindle excitement for your work. By learning techniques that provide rapid results, you will feel more fulfilled and less overwhelmed in your practice.
Finally, AAIT™ equips practitioners with skills to address a wide range of concerns, including perinatal mental health, trauma, severe depression and anxiety, substance misuse, LGBTQAI+ issues, spiritual well-being and much more.

Rick Fridrick is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and psychotherapist in Lafayette, Louisiana, with nearly two decades of experience in residential treatment, substance use programs, community mental health, and private practice. A colleague introduced him to AAIT™ in 2019. In early 2020, a personal session brought him a lasting sense of peace and became the turning point in both his own healing and his professional direction. He now serves as an AAIT™ Foundations Trainer, and he is one of the few licensed mental health professionals in Louisiana certified in the model.
Rick specializes in trauma, PTSD, grief, anxiety, depression, and addiction, and he has particular experience supporting first responders and veterans. His integrative approach weaves AAIT™ together with EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, IFS, and somatic methods. He values AAIT™ because it reduces suffering at the root and helps clients move from internal fragmentation toward clarity and emotional freedom, without prolonged analysis. As a trainer, he also helps clinicians feel more effective and less weighed down by the emotional residue of client work.
LPC
Stacy Hernandez is a mental health counselor who believes healing begins when people reconnect with their own inner strength, wisdom, and capacity for change. Her approach rests on compassion, authenticity, and empowerment. She creates a space where clients feel deeply supported and still get encouraged to grow past the patterns that leave them stuck, disconnected, or powerless. She sees therapy as a way to restore self-trust, never as a path to dependence on the therapist.
Stacy uses AAIT™ alongside evidence-based and mindfulness-informed methods to help clients build self-awareness, emotional resilience, and nervous system regulation. She works with clients to examine the patterns, beliefs, and experiences shaping their lives, then equips them with practical tools for lasting change. Her clients come to her for anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-esteem, emotional overwhelm, and personal growth. Her style is warm and honest, with a gentle push toward accountability and forward movement.
What practitioners say
"I'm actually certified as a trauma focused CBT therapist because I did a lot of work with kids, and I have other trainings. None of my little techniques could decrease, so quickly, that strong emotional response the way AAIT™ does."

"I am stunned by the nature of this change in myself. A sense of excitement arises inside me like never before, as I feel hopeful for myself and my clients when I realized that AAIT™ is truly a way to alleviate the pain and suffering."
